WPS Print Exhibition 2023 – Early Information

It is never too early to think about submitting images for our Annual Print Exhibition.

This is an opportunity to display your work to the public as well as to members, in a superb gallery setting – the City Space Gallery on the mezzanine floor of The Arc.

This exhibition, staged in conjunction with our partners at Hampshire Cultural Trust, is a showcase for our photography, our photographers and the Society.

The exhibition categories and further details are given on the website and in the handbook.

We were delighted to exhibit the work of more than 50 members this year – help us to make it more than 60.

If you feel there’s something holding you back from entering – tell us!

We aim to run a workshop with advice on how to select your entries and what is more likely to be accepted.

We will also run a printing & mounting workshop so that help will be available to produce your successful prints.

If there’s anything else you need – ask me (Gavin Bowyer) as exhibition organiser, your members reps or indeed any of the WPS committee members

Classes

The exhibition classes will be the same as last year with one change.

The Action class, which received very few entries last year, will be replaced with a new class, Theme.

The theme for 2023 will be ”Sin”, to match the theme of the National Gallery touring exhibition which will be on display in the Arc at the same time.
