Joining or Renewing Current Membership

For most of the past two seasons our programme has had to be online only.

The Society is currently planning for a full 2021-22 season and the subscription rates are set accordingly.

If Government, Local Authority or Public Health England advice causes significant curtailment of the planned programme, then an appropriate compensation will be made to members.

To proceed with membership application or renewal, please read the appropriate sections below carefully.

Because of the disruption to the 2020/21 season caused by Covid-19, the committee approved a discount for renewing members.

The Membership Subscription rates for 2021/22 are:

  • Renewing Full Membership (including Covid-19 Loyalty Discount): £59
  • Renewing Joint Membership (including Covid-19 Loyalty Discount): £104
  • New Full Membership: £79
  • New Joint Membership (2 people residing at same address): £139
  • Student Membership (Full time students under the age of 21): £10

The preferred method for payment, especially subscriptions, is a bank transfer because we incur no fees; the Paypal fee is around £2.75 for a subscription.

It’s also much easier to reconcile bank transactions than PayPal ones.

If you cannot do a bank transfer, then please contact the membership secretary who will advise how PayPal can be used for your subscription. 

Full and Associate Members

If you are an existing Full or Associate member of the Society you may renew your membership and choose your payment method by clicking the button below.

Please note that

  • in line with the Society’s Accessibility Policy, if you require a reserved seat at meetings for medical reasons, please contact the Treasurer.
  • In recognition of the Covid-19 disruption to last season’s programme, renewing members are offered a discounted rate for the 2021-22 season.

Just click on MY WINPHOTOSOC where you can edit your contact information, address, and other details.

When you pay online by bank transfer, please ignore the weird bank reference shown in your account under My Profile. Use SUB (initial) (lastname) as the reference.

If you are on our Waiting List and have received a formal invitation to join the Society from the Treasurer / Membership Secretary

  • Pay your subscription by clicking the button below.
  • As a new member, you should have been authorised to activate your account in WebCollect.
  • If this is your first time, click on the link to “Reset my password” and follow the prompts.
  • After logging on, please click on MY WINPHOTOSOC and complete your contact information, address, and other details.

The Society is currently operating at full membership capacity. If you are on our waiting list, please be patient; we do have a normal turnover of members each summer, so places should become available at that point. Occasionally, a mid-season place becomes available; if you are lucky enough to be next on the list, you will hear from the Treasurer.

In order to preserve the friendly nature of the Society and to provide a comfortable environment for our members, we do operate a membership limit. We are not open to new members at this time; however if you are already on our waiting list and have received a Membership Invitation, please follow the process above.

There is a turnover of members each season, as people move away or decide to prioritise other activities. Places normally become available for new members in late summer.
